Favorite Quote:“Making abortion a crime is actually more a question than an answer If abortion is a crime, who are the criminals?.” ― Michelle Oberman, Her Body, Our Laws

What Made Me Love This Book: Abortion is a very tricky subject to have a debate on in my opinion, Michelle Oberman clearly states in her book that the purpose of it is to present different cases of the impact of laws of abortions and let her readers make up their own opinion on the topic.

She traveled to many different countries and examined how the different banned on abortion are playing out from Chile where the ban is not really enforced to El Salvador where abortion is illegal under all circumstances. Overman also interviews different key influencers in the pro-life and pro-choice movement.

With her research from different countries with abortion bans and opposite views on the issue. She examines questions that are often overlooked when discussing the topic and scenarios that could occur if abortion becomes illegal again in the US.
