USA• CA | ALAMERE FALLS

Such a beautiful, tiring hike but it is worth it! My friends and I started the hike at around eleven and we got back to the car at around four. We brought lunch with us (which I highly recommend you do), if I do this again I'm bringing three snacks and more water.

There is a lot to see along the way. But you should start early in the morning so you can take your time and not have to come back when night is falling. If you’re doing this hike in the summer time dress lightly. I was wearing shorts and felt like I was melting at times.

Don’t forget:

  • A water bottle (there is not filling stations on the track so make sure you bring enough, I recommend two per person)

  • Sunglasses

  • Sunscreen

  • Good pairs of shoes (some areas are pretty steep and you’ll be walking for some time)
